Senior Engineering Technician

 

Summary:
The successful candidate will prepare engineering and surveying plans, maps, and exhibits; provide technical assistance and support to surveying staff including terrain modeling, quantity calculations, and mapping using AutoCad Civil 3D and/or Land Development Desktop and Liscad. Microstation experience is a plus.

 

Typical assignments will include preparation of topographic maps, ALTA surveys, record of surveys, legal descriptions, exhibit maps, construction surveying calculations, as-built record drawings, and similar tasks.

 

Requirements:
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 10 years in survey mapping and data reduction; a LSIT and/or Associates degree or training certificate is desirable; expert computer software skills for AutoCAD and Civil 3D and/or Land Development Desktop are required; ability to produce work effectively with minimal supervision is a must as well as a commitment to time schedules and deadlines; ability to work independently and within a team environment; be self-motivated.
