Telecommunications Positions - Minnesota, North Dakota, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas
Do you enjoy traveling for your career? Does working in a fast paced outside telecommunications construction environment sound like a challenging position? Are you comfortable working closely with outside plant personnel, subcontractors and internal staff members on projects?

Finley Engineering offices in Lexington, KY, Lamar, MO, Slayton, MN, and Bismarck, ND are looking for a number of full time positions to work on ARRA Stimulus Project work. This work must be completed within 3 years and will lead to longer term employment for the individuals who can successfully complete this work on time. These projects involve deployment of several thousands of miles of fiber for independent telecommunications clients in eastern Kentucky, northern Indiana and western Kansas.

Uses surveying instruments,to establish lines and grades within the aerial rebuild/construction site. Write field data reports that summarize the results of surveying for construction crews and engineers. Must have a high School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Power Transmission Field Technician - Lamar, MO
Power Transmission Field Technician, this is an entry level position which uses surveying instruments or Global Positioning System (GPS) instrumentation to establish lines and grades within a rebuild/construction site. Will write field data reports that summarize the results of surveying for construction crews and engineers. Ideal candidates must be able to analyze simple work-related problems and recommend solutions by using well-defined guidelines. We have several positions available to work in southern Iowa, Missouri, north east Kansas and Arkansas.
